A classic car restoration club I founded in Porto. Most of it happens in the garage: I'm restoring my second car, we rebuilt an engine, and we're building a Micra race car. On the web, we turn the grainy 1990s factory manuals (often the only documentation left for these cars) into searchable, mobile-friendly interactive manuals you can read under the car. Six are online so far across Nissan, Mazda and Subaru, plus a few free in-house tools like a wheel-fitment calculator.
A live 3D view of a Kubernetes cluster, built as something to look at rather than a tool to use. Hue is the namespace, size is memory, tumble is CPU, and how far a pod drifts from its node is how close it is to its own limit. Every lifecycle event gets its own animation: pods bloom when scheduled, strobe red when they crashloop, and shove their neighbours out of the way when they get OOM killed. It reads whatever cluster your kubeconfig points at.

music bot
A Telegram bot that converts music links between Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube. Also my personal vibe-coding playground. Every 2-3 years I rewrite it from scratch with whatever LLM tooling exists at the time.
A client-side web application for whale measurement, designed to assist marine biologists. It detects EXIF data from drone images to enable accurate sizing without uploading photos to a server.

off-grid power
We built a 280Ah 12V power station able to withstand 1500W. Enabling us to power two JBL Partybox speakers, a laptop, DJ mixer and lights, anywhere with an expected runtime of 10 hours of non-stop djing.
A self-hosted dashboard for Portuguese household utilities. It decodes the fiscal QR on bill PDFs, pulls 15-minute consumption from E-Redes, reminds me to submit meter readings, and replays my real usage curve against every tariff on the market to say what switching would actually save. Runs on a Pi 5, keeps everything in one SQLite file, and never sends a byte anywhere.
A desktop workbench for making CAD parts with Claude Code. I point at the part, Claude writes the build123d code, and torno rebuilds it on every save. Next to the live 3D view runs the real claude CLI, and I can pin a face or measure a wall so Claude gets positions and numbers instead of screenshots. It grew out of an air intake for the Micra and went public on November 4 after 633 commits. Open source under Apache-2.0, for Linux and macOS.

telegram game
A Pokémon game that lives inside Telegram, faithful to FireRed and LeafGreen. You send your trainer on trips across the map, wild and trainer encounters ping you, and battles run in a Telegram Mini App on a replica of the Gen 3 battle engine. There are gyms, a ranked ladder, trades, a Game Corner and day and night on Lisbon's clock, and Johto opened at the end of October. It took over from Spacegram on September 17, runs on Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects and D1, and is played by about twenty friends. Built almost entirely with Claude Code.
Hyperlocal news for Valongo, gathered by bots into one Telegram feed.

local news
A hyperlocal news aggregator for the Valongo area. Bots watch the town hall, IPMA weather warnings, the local paper and even Wikipedia edits about the parishes, then fold it all into a single Telegram feed. More is brewing behind the scenes, but for now the feed is the only public part.
An OGame-inspired space strategy game that lived inside Telegram and ran entirely on Cloudflare's free tier, vibecoded over a vacation. You mined a homeworld that could run dry for good, researched a tech tree, and sent fleets into a galaxy generated from one seed, so a system only became a database row when somebody flew there. One Durable Object per player held the empire and woke on an alarm, D1 answered everything that crossed players, and the bot messaged you when a timer landed. It ran 32 days for 18 commanders and closed in September 2026; every empire is archived and the post mortem is on the blog.
